An Unforgettable Stay in Paradise – Absolute Perfection!
Our stay at this brand-new resort was nothing short of extraordinary! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and exceptional hospitality. The check-in process was seamless, and the staff—especially Amy, Chris, and Enzo—went above and beyond to ensure our comfort throughout our stay. Their friendliness, fluent English, and genuine desire to make our experience special truly set this resort apart.
Our room was a dream—spacious, beautifully furnished, and equipped with two incredibly comfortable double beds. But the highlight? The breathtaking view of lush green mountains from our expansive balcony! With a cozy outdoor sofa and a wonderfully relaxing swing, it was the perfect spot to unwind and soak in the serene beauty of nature.
Being situated on a scenic mountaintop park, the resort provided direct access to an incredible nature experience. We had the pleasure of exploring the park with our fantastic bilingual guide, Jose, who led us through stunning hanging bridges while sharing his deep knowledge of the local wildlife. The scenery was simply mesmerizing, making this an unforgettable part of our trip.
Dining at the resort’s Tropical Restaurant was another highlight. The ambiance was magical, especially at sunset, and the food was absolutely delicious! Their complimentary snacks were a lovely touch, and the sumptuous breakfast, served by a wonderfully friendly team, was the perfect way to start our day. We also discovered some fantastic nearby restaurants, including Samurai Thai and Namaste India, which added even more culinary delights to our trip.
Beyond the resort’s beauty and world-class service, we found the location to be incredibly convenient. It was an easy and scenic drive to the iconic Manuel Antonio National Park and its world-class beaches, making it the perfect base for both relaxation and adventure.
From start to finish, this stay exceeded all expectations. The resort offers a flawless combination of luxurious comfort, stunning natural beauty, top-notch hospitality, and incredible convenience. If you’re looking for a truly unforgettable experience, this is the place to be! We can’t...

Pros: Beautiful views. Pretty marble floors throughout. Beautiful Buddhust sculptures outside each room. Nice structure. Accommodating. Helped us change rooms and answered all questions promptly. Nice showers. Refillable water, tea at anytime. See some animals on the tour like sloths, toucans, monkeys. Loved the swing chair on the balconies. Decent pillows.
Cons: Some trash around on outside stairs, on hanging bridges. Lots of construction materials strewn about. This was very unattractive by the bridges which was a point of booking. Dirty inside stairs. No napkins on each table, one working salt shaker in the restaraunt. You get a table with napkins or you get unlucky. Limited breakfast Expensive dinner ($64 for an appetizer, 2 drinks, and two bowls of ice cream). Small rooms with weird sewage smell. Only one staff member smiled at us the whole time we were there. Very strenuous free walking tour, and we weren't told to bring water or that it would be so. Got very hot and if my mom had come she wouldn't have been able to do all the steps we took. $65 dollars for a load of laundry felt like we were being taken advantage of. A housekeeper was bit by a scorpion (not the hotels fault obviously but beware it was on a pillow where the public can sit.)
Bottom line; feels like a backpacker hotel rather than a resort, but has resort prices due to the view. We like a bit more attention to detail and wouldn't stay here again, but probably good for people in their early twenties who don't mind the details.
Thank you...
Read moreStayed at Mountain Top Park Hotel for 4 nights. Check in was smooth and we were warmly welcomed by "Chile" at the front gate. Room was small but nice and clean. Nice modern bathroom with big shower but soap and shampoo dispensers didn't work well. Bed a bit hard but got used to it. Asked for and received extra pillows...very accomodating. Breakfast is served every morning by Hosea and Wendy on a cute deck with a nice view. Great coffee, yogurt, fruit, eggs, potatoes and toast. Saw iguanas, monkeys and macaws on the property and a sleeping sloth. The staff are very friendly and hospitable. Hosea gives a little tour of the property to each guest. Wendy cleans the rooms and cooks breakfast. They do whatever they can to make sure the guests are happy. On the property is also the Mountain Top restaurant with an incredible 360 view. We had cocktails and dinner at the top 2 nights and saw magnificent sunsets. Had the whole place to ourselves pretty much!! George is the bartender and is super friendly and made us great drinks for Happy Hour!! The food is reasonably priced and very good. Shayla served us and was sweet and practiced her English on us. I would recommend the restaurant and the hotel is a good value...
