Okay, number 1 issues of several. They asked if We wanted our 48,000 colones meal in dollars and my mom said yes, which ended up around $91. Long story short is they took $9 from us. The exchange rate is 591 to the dollar.
The table service was okay but I didn't like the food. It was recommended by our hotel, and the view is supposed to be great but the food was underwhelming for me. My mom said her salad was delicious however my lobster wasn't.
Food review: The farm salad was really good, my mom said delicious. Fried vegetable spring rolls were okay. The garlic seafood soup had a decent flavor but the broth had separated. I got the seafood platter, and the fish and potatoes were good, but the lobster had a really weird off taste and was frankly inedible. The shrimp were really small in this dish and in the soup. I didn't send it back but I couldn't eat it. The waiter recommended getting the fish with mashed potatoes so if you go here, I would recommend getting jumbo prawns or just a fish of the day like he...
Read moreThis lovely place was recommended to us by numerous locals and did not disappoint! From the second we walked in the door we were greeted nicely and brought right to our table. We had a party of 6 and made reservations, which was convenient and easy to do. They even had my name on the table, which was a nice touch, and made me feel special. Our server, Pedro was great - friendly, prompt, and made sure we had everything we needed through the night. We tried several appetizers and all were great - the tuna surprise, guacamole, and crab dip. The crab dip was a table favorite. Everyone loved their meals, ranging from shrimp, to catch of the day, but we tried the Oceano Sorpresa and wowy! It comes with a whole fish, lobster, shrimp, calamari, octopus, mussels, clams, and crab for two and it was awesome! Not only how huge it was, but had such a variety of seafood on it and was delicious. Totally worth it and highly recommend! We had a great evening and appreciated the great food and...
Read moreAbsolutely blown away by this incredible restaurant, so much so, that we came back the next night to try another pair of meals!
The drinks are so fresh! Margaritas and Mojitos can be made with any additional fruit which is all fresh. Apparently during happy hour from 2-5p they are Bogo - we didn’t make it to this. They also have a great sunset view.
The seafood is so fresh, seasoned well and comes in great portion sizes ! The tuna surprise appetizer features three forms of fresh tuna and was flavored so well. The surf and surf was delicious lemon butter sauce with fresh veggies and mashed potatoes. The octopus and shrimp appetizer also blew us away with the garlic buttery toast. The seafood platter also was excellent featuring every kind of seafood you can imagine!
Highly highly recommend!!!! Staff is attentive, the prices are very affordable and the ambiance...
