Interesting place to visit and spend hour in solving different puzzles made out of wood parts, or to experience some exibits like table where is your head served on a plate, room in which you look like a giant and your partner like a hobbit..and..well.. uhm.. that's It. There a lot of puzzles we all have seen already on our computers, so nothing new with that ideas. Overall a good place, a bit small I would add altough is on two floors, but really nothing which will "take you out of your shoes", there is also a mirror room but It didn't made me to feel like a Roger Moore in "James Bond -Golden gun" movie from 1974. Admission ticket is 40 kuna, about 5,50euros. I think it should be no higher then 25 kuna, but again rents in this part of town is high so that should be taken into account, but then also quality and ideas should be on higher level. There is also an option to buy souvenirs which are not cheap according croatian standards and our wages (pillow with stripes is pricey 200kn if I remember correctly~30euros, ordinary, puzzle starts from 40 kuna - made in third part of the world, so that are not local souvenirs). So, overall if you like to solve puzzles - go, if you have kids - go, but if you expect to be stunned by ilussion you better pass it and donate your money to a homeless person. You will be more fullfilled. There are just a lot of room for improvements, but I congratulate for ideas and entrepreneurship spirit, just keep improve this...
Read moreA Mind-Bending Experience: Museum of Illusions in Zagreb
Tucked away in the heart of Zagreb, the Museum of Illusions offers a captivating journey into the world of optical illusions and perceptual puzzles. What initially drew us in was the museum's intriguing name, but what kept us engaged was the sheer brilliance of its exhibits.
Though not sprawling in size, the museum is expansive in its creativity. Each exhibit is a carefully designed masterpiece that challenges your perception and defies logic. From rooms that seem to warp and bend reality to interactive installations that invite you to become part of the illusion, there's never a dull moment.
What truly enhances the experience is the museum's commitment to inclusivity. Descriptions and explanations are available in multiple languages, making it accessible to a global audience. The young staff members deserve special mention for their enthusiasm and helpfulness, adding a personal touch to the visit.
Whether you're a skeptic seeking to unravel the mysteries behind the illusions or simply looking for a fun and mind-bending experience, the Museum of Illusions in Zagreb is a must-visit. It's a place where science meets art, and reality merges with imagination. Don't miss the opportunity to see the world in a whole new light—or perhaps, in no light at...
Read moreA small museum with interesting interactive exhibits. It is best enjoyed in someone's company, otherwise you will have to observe other visitors participating in order to observe certain illusions. The large room upstairs is too crowded with people and exhibits, it is nearly impossible to take a photo in the upside-down room. Most exhibits are well labeled, however you may have to figure out a few on your own. A huge drawback for me was the lack of air conditioning. There are 2 AC units on each floor, but the air isn't moving through individual rooms within each floor, and there was a window opened on the top floor. I couldn't wait to leave, it was so hot. The AC units were displaying 17C, but the real feel was 28C, with the outside...
