Meet the world's smallest ever macchiato for not-so-cheap 12kunas :D I was afraid to breathe next to it for I might inhale it through a nostril and not even taste it, it was that small. I did not order a small macchiato. I just said "coffee with milk" and, as Croats know - "coffee with milk" is considered a large macchiato. This was certainly not it so make sure to explain it to the waiter. Otherwise the service was okay, the waiter was, in fact, welcoming and nice, the taste of the coffee was superb. Just not in accordance with the price and not what I ordered. :D A bit overpriced as they charge flat white 24kunas but a nice place to have a good coffee now...

I'm not exacurating when I say that coffee in Cogito and its sister shop Dvorište is amongs the best experience I've ever had - the only one that is coming close from memory being LaMarzocco lab in Seattle, but I'd argue that the quality of the coffee (so not the drink served) is actually better in Cogito. And the quality is consistent across the drinks as well espresso, cappuccino, and v60 were all absolutely sublime.

It was hard to ignore that a more sharply dressed guest, who arrived after me, was served before me. Whether coincidence or not, it came across as a quiet judgment based on appearance.
