Statue dedicated to liberation of Rijeka during WW2. The statue itself was built by local artist showing typical communist motivs such as working class people and war.

Schönes Denkmal. Die meisten Berichte anderer erzählen ja eh schon die Geschichte dahinter. Das muss ich jetzt nicht nochmal durchkauen. Foto auch extra von weiter weg, da alle es aus nächster Nähe fotografiert haben. Gern geschehen. 🥳

Ein beeindruckendes Denkmal umgeben von zwei Kanälen. Es gibt einen kleinen Park mit Sitzmöglichkeiten Toiletten in der Nähe. Mehrere Cafes sind in unmittelbarer Nähe, aber auch eine vielbefahrene Strasse.
