It’s free and worth a visit if you have time to kill in Split. The museum is about a 20 min walk from the main centre of Split and contains interesting artefacts such as ancient coins and sarcophagus. Learn about Queen Jelana, King Justin and lots of other interesting people throughout history. The museum could do with a renovation and there was a lot of space for the number of items on display. There wasn’t any air conditioning so it was very warm inside, but we were the only people in there and there was a lot of space so it wasn’t so bad. Even though the admission was free and the weather was cool this museum was very warm and empty, not just of people but of things to see. Huge building but only a few few items on display.
