If you're visiting Split and looking for a panoramic view of the city, Cats Point is a must-see. Nestled above the city, this spot offers a fantastic vantage point where you can take in the entire skyline, the Adriatic Sea, and the surrounding mountains.
Getting there is part of the adventure—you can either climb a lot of stairs (great for those who enjoy a bit of a workout) or opt for a Tuk Tuk ride if you prefer a more relaxed approach. When we visited, there was no entrance fee, though it's unclear if that’s always the case.

Read moreOK, first off, we didn't explore the entire park! We walked up the steps from the end of the Riva and stopped at the cafe and observation point. A bit of a wimp out but such is life. The walk up the steps was lovely, we passed an aviary with singing birds and had views of various gardens and houses. The path was well marked and litter free. At the top there is an observation point that gives views over split and also to the Fortress of Klis and there is a cafe that, when we were there, just served drinks. We sat and had a coffee and then made our way back...
