Nautic center Bol — Attraction in Općina Bol

Warning! Jet skiing is fun all over the world, including in Bol. BUT be aware that you will be completely alone out on the sea. Despite prior agreement, our tour guide left us all alone on the water, even after the weather suddenly turned stormy. We were assured that all we had to do was raise our hand and we’d be picked up by the boat if we felt uncomfortable continuing on the jet ski. However, the boat distanced itself so much that we couldn't even see it anymore — we were completely abandoned. At that distance, a raised hand is useless, and help cannot arrive in time — which, in the worst case, could end in disaster.

Just because the jet skis are equipped with GPS does not mean you’re safe, especially when the sea suddenly becomes rough and dangerous (which happened to us).

The manager is relatively polite, but one of the younger staff members — the one who drives the boat, with medium-length brown wavy hair, an orange pair of sunglasses and a cap — is incredibly disrespectful, rude, and arrogant beyond belief. He left us alone on the open water and then lashed out at us when we pointed out that it was absolutely unacceptable to leave participants of the tour out of sight, alone at sea. Not a single apology. No remorse. Just arrogant, disrespectful comments and childish responses.

Additionally, the booking process is misleading. When asked whether a boat license is required to operate a jet ski in Croatia, they claim that no license is necessary — which is not true. In Croatia, a valid boat license is always required for jet ski use. Since most tourists don’t have one, they simply lie in order to make more money. The Nautic Center profits from this while putting its customers at serious legal risk. Croatia’s coast guard and maritime police frequently patrol the waters and often stop jet ski users to check for proper licenses. If you’re caught without one, fines can easily exceed €1,000.

So, if you're okay with being left alone without help, dealing with a rude, arrogant, and irresponsible tour guide, and potentially facing hefty fines for misinformation, then this jet ski tour is just right for you. Otherwise...

Jet skiing in Bol was absolutely unforgettable! Everything was perfectly organized, from the clear safety instructions to the friendly staff who made sure we felt comfortable at all times.

Special thanks to one of the younger team members — the guy with medium-length brown wavy hair, orange sunglasses, and a cap. He was not only professional and attentive, but also had such a fun and unique energy that made the trip extra special. Believe it or not, he even has a talent for calling dolphins — and during our ride, a few of them actually showed up near us! It felt magical and added something truly unique to the whole experience.

We always felt safe because the staff never left us out of sight, and they were ready to assist immediately if needed. The booking process was also clear and easy, with transparent information about everything we needed to know.

This was by far the highlight of our trip to Croatia. If you want both adventure and safety — with a little touch of magic — this is the perfect place. Highly recommended, and we can’t wait...

Today is my birthday and I was referred to one of the most professional, welcoming, warm, enthusiastic staff. I felt almost guilty of receiving this overwhelming amount of hollywood treatment. The owner Dennis greeted me with smiles and assurance of accommodation. The staff’s religion is customer service and each one of them with above and beyond to fulfill my first speed experience. The driver Ante was an ocean limo driver and considered all of my desires. Ante was an outstanding ocean guide. I was educated about all the islands of Croatia. This is a stop to heaven, I highly recommend you come here as soon as possible.
