Unique, but not in a good way. We had the first bad experience before even arriving. We had a reservation for a sunbed and we were giving them a call that we might be 5 to 10 minutes late. The staff member told us literally, that they were only holding the reservation as long as nobody elso would be asking for the sunbed. As we already had a lot of way behind us and now had nearly arrived, we asked to please not give the sunbed away. The lady repeated coldly "Of course we wont - as long as nobody else would ask for it". At the end we were lucky nobody else took our reservation. The sunbeds themselves were not only very expensive in comparison to other beach bars, to our surprise this beach bar is also the only one around that does NOT have towels included in the prize for its sunbeds. If you ask for the towels, the staff simply points you in the direction of the finest souvenir shop around where you can buy some. So you either buy some extra towels you wont need another time or you go without, which is not a problem as long as you adapt your behaviour: Either you move every few seconds before the fabric of the sunbeds glues to your skin or you move as less as possible, minimizing the moments of pain when you tear yourself from the sunbed. To say something positive: If you come with a small child that has a lot of energy, you dont need to worry about its behaviour. The place is packed with screaming children, so yours wont make a difference and the sunbeds are not that...
Read moreEdit: Thanks for your reply, however I disagree. How is the quality of a draft beer better at your place than anywhere else in the area? You brew it yourself? I don't think so ;) Also the Daiquiri was more expensive than the average price but lower in taste of local standards. And I don't agree on your point with the view either, what is on your photo then? Sunbeds? (Of course I didn't count them and "hundreds" is clearly an exxageration to make a point) For the food I don't know, as we only had drinks. Maybe your calamari are great, no idea. However I saw some convenience food on other tables. The burger bun was definitely not a "real bun" to use your words maybe fresh out of a package but not freshly baken for sure. Same for the patty. (Pizza & fries also seem to be convenience products) However thanks for your wishes, I wish you alle the best as well :)
Nice and calm bar, music is not too loud. However pretty much overpriced and you can't see the ocean as there are hundreds of ugly (and empty) sunbeds blocking...
Read moreI’ve eaten lunch here most days for the duration of my 5 day trip and every meal has been nothing short of outstanding, from the service, the atmosphere and the food itself. I highly recommend the chicken burger it’s made with a thick breast of chicken and cooked in panko, herbs and a sauce that made it extra tasty. I was too eager to get stuck in to take a photo Also, the calamari is superb see photo. If you like freshly cooked, delicious food and good portion sizes you will like this place! Photos: Calamari, frozen Margarita and the club sandwich which is easily enough to share (or not if...
