Mcckenzie Beach in Cyprus offers a picturesque escape, with its soft golden sands and crystal-clear waters. Nestled along the southern coast, it boasts stunning views of the Mediterranean Sea. The beach is well-maintained, with amenities like loungers and umbrellas available for rent, ensuring a comfortable day under the sun. Its calm waters make it ideal for swimming and snorkeling, while nearby cafes and restaurants provide delicious refreshments. Whether you're seeking relaxation or adventure, Mcckenzie Beach promises a memorable seaside experience.

The sand was fine, but hard, perhaps from the water. The water didn’t have the same color as in Nissi and Protaras, for example, but it was warm. A sunbed and umbrella cost 7.5 euros, but for some reason nobody came for us to pay. There’s also a lifeguard. There were waves in the water, which was extremely clean. The sun set very early around 5:30 PM, but maybe because it gets dark much earlier here. There’s nowhere around to get food if you get hungry, or water - you have to go out to the waterfront street itself.

This beach is really nice for family's travelling with child, as the water gets deep really slowly. Its not crowded. Definitly would recommend. One thing to note is that the shops are a bit away from the sunbeds, and a coffee costs €4, which is hugely overpriced. The sunbeds/sunshades costs €2.5 but if you are alone you don't need to pay for 2 sunbeds. The shower works with 50 cent coins.

The beach is just like any other, the water is warm, but the rude behavior of the sunbed staff is beyond belief. This is the first time I’ve encountered such a situation. The service is very unpleasant; they yell at guests who haven’t immediately paid for the sunbed and just placed their towels. If no one approaches, they make you search for the staff all over the beach before you can...
