Walled City Museum - Surlariçi Şehir Müzesi — Attraction in Lefkoşa Türk Belediyesi

Such a fantastic museum although I would say the focus is more on art. Lots of paintings and wonderful sculptures to see as well as some really interesting art work on each of the ceilings. There was also a fantastic toy car collection that was worth a visit on its own! Set over several floors, there is a lift for those that need assistance. Toilets were clean and the staff were excellent, very friendly and happy to answer questions. Entrance fee could be pad in Turkish Lira or Euros and is fantastic value for money. It rained heavily the day we visited and the museum provided a great respite whilst it passed. I imagine in the summer it would offer the same respite from the heat...

We were so so satisfied with this museum! It was so beautiful to see the history of northern cyprus and there was such a lovely tourguide that showed us everything and explained us the history of the whole island back to the middle-age. Sure it is 100TL per person but you get a tour with a guide on 4-5 floors. Highly...
