We have just arrived home after a lovely two night stay. ||||You drive into the old walled city of Lefkosa and negotiate the narrow streets to the guesthouse. ||||On arrival there is a key code entry box to gain entry and the rooms had welcome signs on the doors. We felt like it was our home for a couple of nights. ||||The whole guesthouse has been sympathetically restored and the three rooms have everything you need. This includes tv, fridge tea and coffee making facilities. The breakfast area leads to some stairs to a small rooftop terrace where you can enjoy the sunshine. ||||Breakfast was typically Turkish with lovely cheeses, jams, fruit and cakes and there was plenty of it to set you up for the day. ||||Car parking in the streets can be a little tricky so we would suggest parking in a nearby car park and taking a short walk to the guesthouse. It has every modern feature (USB ports in some of the wall sockets!) and stylish decor, applied in a way that enhances the traditional style of the building. ||The hosts (two lovely sisters) are incredibly kind and welcoming, and made us feel so relaxed and looked-after during our stay.||Our bed was SO-O-O comfortable, and we also loved sitting outside in the beautiful courtyard at the back.||Breakfast was served to us with huge care and attention on the roof terrace in the sunshine - so much that I...
