While exploring the streets of Nicosia, we stumbled across Funky Dough — drawn in by the bright, stylish logo that immediately caught our eye.

From the start, we loved how genuinely devoted the team was. They kept checking in to make sure everything — from the food to the overall experience — was top-notch. And honestly, we could only agree: it absolutely was.

The pizzas were perfect — not too heavy, with a light, airy crust and just the right amount of toppings. But don't expect your typical classic pizza here. Funky Dough goes a step further, creating inventive, customized recipes that feel fresh, fun, and delicious.

We tried the Purple Hills (tomato sauce, Grana Padano, mozzarella, caramelized red onion, goat cheese, topped with honey and chili flakes) and the Agnello Verde (tomato sauce, Grana Padano, mozzarella, Moroccan-spiced lamb sausage, sautéed spinach, and smoked scamorza). Honestly, they were so good I might have tried to eat the plate too!

Alongside the pizzas, we enjoyed some lively, creative cocktails — including one made with beer syrup, a first for us and surprisingly amazing.

Hakiki özel pizza fırınında, çok güzel mayalanmış uzun dinlenmiş mideyi hiç yormayan hamuruyla, kaliteli lezzetli domates sosuyla, her yerde bulamayacağınız yaratıcı malzeme kombinasyonlariyla kesinlikle harika. Çok iyi düşünülmüş malzeme bileşimleri ve her malzeme belli ki kaliteden ödün vermeden seçilmiş, tek başlarına da birlikte de çok iyiler. Hamuru kaliteli ve güzel mayalanmış olduğu için asla mideyi rahatsız etmiyor. Kaliteli bir Pizza için yapılması gereken her şey yapılmış, üzerine de yaratıcılık eklenmiş. Hamurunun kalitesi pizzanın siparişten 10 dakika sonra masanızda oluşundan da belli oluyor.
