This is a very small cove, with 3 rows of sunbeds. Quite popular, but not a golden beach. Gets very over populated with sunbathers and not much space. First thing in morning the beach was tranquil, absolutely lovely, by mid morning the cove was full of bathers, and the sea had lots of waves. was very dangerous to swim in and takes u under the waves. Our sunbeds were the first row, nearest to the seafront, and our stuff got soaking wet. Left. Ate at the Restaurant. Over priced. Ordered Greek breakfast, food arrived over cooked burnt halloumi, u could see the grill burnt black bits on the rest of my food. Not a good experience at the beach...
Read moreThis beach has everything you need - it’s a small bay with soft sand, very good water quality, showers, public toilets, nice restaurant and parking space next to it. Two sunbeds and umbrella cost 7,50€ per day - as everywhere on public beaches on Cyprus - which is really reasonable price. There is a lifeguard from 7am to 5am and the water quality is measured regularly. You need to come early (before 10 am) if you want to get some, even during low season in October. Over the years it’s changed quite a bit. It’s now much easier to find, there is a dedicated car park, the area around the beach reshaped, a disabled ramp down to the beach, toilets and a small drinks bar are all newish additions.
