Blown away by visiting this place. My expectations were a bit low because of the complaints read in the reviews. This is a true kids dream come true though (and parents'!). The hotel looks amazing. Very clean, well maintained. We had a pirate room and it was awesome. The theming is magnificent. Lego all over the room, also for the kids to play with. Even a little Lego package as a surprise for the kids to build. Furniture was not worn off in our room. It was quite hot in the room though, have to admit that. Window wide open, door open during the evening, outside fire exit door open so the cool breeze could blow in and the little table fan to suck the cool breeze into the room. For the money paid for the room, this should not be necessary.
Complaints I read about being misinformed about the room, check in process or parking permit I truly don't understand. From the moment you book they swamp you with emails and text messages on your phone with all the information you need. Impossible to not know about any of this unless you completely ignore every message they send.
Self check in was super slow. Should be made more efficient and faster hardware behind it. I.e. by allowing to provide all the details in advance from home, such as your address and passport information. It nagged that I needed to scan my passport for check in, didn't have it on me so walked to the car to go get it while my wife waited at the terminal, when coming back the system continued without needing it anymore. Argh. Idea is good as the lines for the reception can be huge, but it definitely needs some tweaking.
Something we learned about through friends and wasn't mentioned anywhere is that you can ask the reception for free Legoland tickets for the last hour the park is open. You cannot do any rides but you can already explore the park which is a huge win if you plan on visiting it the next day so you already know what's there and what you want to visit.
In the hotel so many things for kids to play with, it's a kids paradise. Lego store is super expensive, but I guess that's what you can expect. The same Lego packages online are sold for a lot less.
Breakfast buffet was very good. Don't understand the complaints about that either. Yes it can get a little crazy busy if you go during rush hour, which are the two hours before the park opens, but everything is quite well restocked, selection of products definitely above just an okay, quality really good. Loved the salmon myself. Simply delicious.
There are plenty of free parking spots for the hotel guests. There are four normal EV chargers and even four fast EV chargers on their parking lot. Two of the normal EV chargers are at the parking right in front of the hotel, the other two on the parking across the street. The permit you can simply get by scanning a QR code at the reception and registering your license plate. Also something they should make possible on forehand. Make that check in process smoother and less time consuming guys! After self checking in it's a true challenge to find out where you can find your room. Incredible that nobody thought about putting up a sign with where to find the rooms. That was a bit frustrating. Even if you finally just start walking in different random directions and do find signs, they're often not very clear where they are pointing to.
There's a bridge giving direct access to the park. There will be a long queue at the park opening. There's only one scanner for tickets. We decided to walk the 5 minutes to the main entrance instead. Also long queues around opening but many gates so the entry process was smooth and efficient. The hotel included entrance tickets worked perfectly fine from my phone screen there.
The price is (too) steep for what you get, especially with the room temperature. Still it's an amazing experience so would probably...

This was a poor welcome to the hotel and showed a real lack of customer service.|We had a park view room. The room was a decent size but it was just okay, not amazing. The hotel doesn't have air con and it is very stuffy & hot. It was unbearable to be in the room. They only provide a tiny desk fan which doesn't do anything other than make a lot of noise.|Whilst the hotel looks clean on the surface, it feels very dirty. There are flies everywhere. You can't open the room windows cause there's so many flies on them.|I went to reception to ask what can be done about the room temp. Initially he just shrugged his shoulders and said there was nothing they could do. I reiterated the room was far too hot and a member of our party was feeling ill with the heat. Then his colleague (who never spoke to me) passed him a note and suddenly a better fan was going to be provided. However, I found him to be very rude and dismissive and clearly uninterested in providing any kind of customer service. This fan did help but not having air con in 2024 is ridiculous.|The bed was very uncomfortable. It is far too soft to the point it felt broken as it sinks in so far. The staff interactions were not a positive experience and the room just isn't up to standard for the price. I wanted to complain at the time to the hotel staff, but after the poor experiences of dealing with them already, I didn't feel I could approach them with any concerns. This hotel charges far too much for the quality and standards they provide. The amenities & facilties are...

Dear Sir/Madam:
I wish to complain about my stay in Legoland hotel. I came with my husband, my 2 year-old twins and 2 other families to have an outstanding experience and enjoy the LEGO world! Since the beginning we realized it is an expensive experience but we were willing to paying as considered it would be worth it! I am complaining because since the moment we arrived at the hotel felt the service was not good at all. First of all, we had the feeling that the the hotel installations were not cleaned at all, the smell around the lobby and rooms halls were not pleasant(food smell all over the place). The room 695 where we are currently staying smells like feet! The “black” elevator has also an unpleasant smell and was sometimes out of order! Furthermore, during dinner and breakfast time we had the sensation people working at the hotel were nor happy neither friendly. We had the feeling we were always asking for favors when requesting something that was missing. On the contrary, I must highlight the one person who made our stay easier and appreciated how we were treated. His name is Gustavo and worked at the Panorama restaurant during the nights we stayed at the hotel! During our first breakfast at the pirate hall we were told it was not possible to get hot milk! There was not more ham and cheese and we had to wait 20 minutes to get a table (which by the way, were available and empty). I understand the coronavirus Pandemic has shaked the industry and things are complicated for everyone but anyhow the amount of money I paid for the experience is extremely high and NOT WORTH IT AT ALL. I extremely believe the cost is unfair for the service provided and quality of installations! I have decided to stay for my children and the kids from the other families as they are living this fantasy with joy and we did not want to ruin it. However, we work hard to be able to pay for the service which as mentioned before is OVERRATED.
