I am a long time Lego customer going back to the 1970's. Now the Lego customers include my children and four grandchildren, we are multigeneration Lego family. I am writing this Google review to document my terrible nightmare experience with lego.com /lego.ca/lego shop during the 2024 black friday Lego event 29 November to 01 December 2024. My google review should help other Lego customers to detect order problems similar to mine and avoid the great disappointment. Also I seek help from the Lego directors( 1. Lego General Manager, Denmark. 2. Lego Chairman, Denmark. 3. Lego Systems, Enfield USA. 4. Lego Canada Markham, Ontario) to explain and correct why my confirmed and fully paid order for 2 Lego 31141 Main Street sets for my grand children was changed from backorder to out of stock and ultimately cancelled by Lego shop at the end of the Lego black friday 2024 event. My grandchildren are the principal victims. Important for the Lego store to have adequate stock levels prior to all Lego special events. I consulted numerous Lego Experts/Lego Shop for a logical explanation and for help but I failed. As a last resort, I requested to speak to a Lego supervisor/Manager for help and to obtain a similar discount on 2 Lego train sets#60337 chosen as replacement by my grandchildren. I was told that the supervisors were not available and the management rep will call me later. Finally a Lego supervisor contacted me; but was unable to provide a logical explanation for the Lego order cancellation. Also was not able to provide comparable discounts on the Lego train sets. Our families have always respected Lego as a great company but all we got from Lego was runaround and no logical answers. We are confident that the Lego directors in Denmark, USA and Canada after investigating my recent experience provide the necessary explanations and resolve the situation with replacement 2 Lego train sets for my grandchildren. We are prepared to pay the discounted prices to end this nightmare prior to Christmas 2024. We remain positive about Lego as a great company. Lastly, offer our family's sincere thanks for help from the Lego directors as soon as possible. THANK-YOU GOOGLE...
Read moreI honestly don’t get all the negative reviews about LEGO, especially when it comes to the prices. I've been a fan for years, and for me, it’s always been about more than just the bricks. I think people forget that LEGO is designed for kids, and they do an amazing job of that. My own experience has been fantastic, especially with how they give out free magazines that are filled with fun activities and ideas. It’s a nice touch, and you can tell they’re really invested in keeping the fun going outside of just building the sets.
Whenever I’ve needed help, LEGO's support team has been great too super responsive and helpful. Sure, the sets might seem pricey sometimes, but I honestly think the value is there. The quality of the bricks, the creativity behind each set, and the fact that you’re building something from scratch makes it all worth it. LEGO isn't just a toy; it’s a creative experience. I’m always happy to support them, and my experience has been nothing...

CONTRA: cannot ship to Austria from German website Pick a Brick inuitively unfindable on Austrian website hardly any good filters (color!) on Pick a Brick website when ordering spare parts, the website says it is e.g. 4 pieces, but you only get shipped 1 piece - that is super annoying chechout summary for Pick a Brick does not summarize the spare parts in detail, so you cannot check your order customer journey is basically endless if and complicated transportation costs for spare parts are borne by consumer sets generally somewhat pricey recently
Compare: e.g. Ravensburger supplies spare parts for free and ships them for free in...
