This is a large children's amusement center located in the "Underground" area of the Tripla mall. Admission is 25 Euros per child which also gives access to the parents. Everyone must wear socks and so you leave jackets and shoes near the entrance.
The area is quite large and the main area is several stories tall (approximately 10 meters) and has climbing areas, slides with and without tubes, jumping areas and mazes. Additionally there are areas and games that require additional payment in the form of tokens. As you can imagine the children are drawn to these attractions like moths to the flame and you can easily spend another 10-20 Euros per child if you are not careful.
There is an onsite restaurant where you can get snacks, drinks and meals and they also sell small toys. I found this problematic because the children were constantly asking for treats and toys.
They have nice private rooms for parties which are hosted and well run. We went on a weekend for a birthday party and it was packed solid but the kids still enjoyed it very much.
Tripla is easy to access from public transport although it is a large mall and easy to get lost your...
Read moreFantastic place for kids around 3-11 (not sure it's really worth it for the younger ones although quite a few seem to come). Our girls absolutely adore it and want to go at least twice every time we're in Helsinki. If offers hours of climbing and sliding fun and and although it's absolutely massive, it's fairly easy to keep track of their whereabouts and to relax and drink a cup of coffee while they play (joining in on the fun is also highly recommended).
It's not cheap, but still better value for money than most kids' activities and particularly good during holidays and in the summer when it's way emptier than I assume it must be in the winter. They could definitely do with a bit more staff and cleaning could be improved in parts; overall though it's a pretty well run operation.
Pro tip: Book online and buy multiple entries at a time if you know you'll be back. They often have offers which bring the per-entry price way down. Oh, and come as soon as they open (and in the summer, even if it feels a little...
Read moreI do love this place. Don't understand why adults with the kids need to pay, and under 2 yr olds. If you going. To charge for the you get kids. Keep the older kids out of the younger kids area so they can play safely. Too many times my 1yr old almost getting jumped on by older kids.
**Since changing to Leo Park this place service level has become incredibly worse. They hold long lines at the entrance where it's clear that your clients are small kids taking at times 40mins to get in with one member of staff on register. Yet you've increased the prices. The penny pinching is clear. The service has fallen and it's just a nightmare.
Staff can visable see distained having to deal...
