Covers the history of Oulu and Northern Ostrobothnia quite nicely. Quite a lot of period era objects on display. Kids (at least Finnish ones) will most likely like the stuff on show just for them. The huge miniature of Oulu in 1938 is quite a sight, and very interesting even for people born and raised in Oulu (like me). Tickets are currently 6/4 euros but for tourists, especially those with children, I'd suggest getting the Luuppi combination ticket so you can visit this museum, the Oulu Museum of Art and Tietomaa for a discounted price.
