Ravintola Indian Cuisine — Restaurant in Oulu sub-region

Heard about the food quite few times that they are very good. So we went and returned utterly disappointed. Ordered 2 dishes for 2 persons. I observed Multiple issues : For my dish the chef did not put any salt in the meal at all. When I complained the waitress said that's the Finnish way of making food in this restaurant. While the other dish was ok salt-wise. Size of portion was too little compared to the price and compared to other Indian restaurants in Oulu. They promised on the menu book each dish comes with basmati rice. However, with our 2 dish ordered, they served only 1 portion of rice. Generally, service seemed to be quite reluctant. This is one of the best places to have food in Oulu. An authentic asian/Indian restaurant where you can taste the authentic dishes of India/Asia. In one sentence it will be a joy ride for your taste buds. The subtle taste of spices and masalas will definitely bring you back again to the place. The place was clean/hygienic and the ambience suits the dishes in the restaurant. Quantity is sufficient and quality is fantastic. The service was really good. I have dined in a lot of Indian restaurants in Tampere, Helsinki, Jyvaskyla and other cities but, here I found some thing which I missed in every other place. It’s the combination of good food, atmosphere, music and a friendly Indian host makes you feel at home.
