By far the worst experience traveling while single and black in Biarritz!!! Maybe it was the fact that i was single that i sat at the table for over 30 mins with waiters making and avoiding eye contact. Maybe thats why after i got the attention it took another 10 mins to come with a menu. Perhaps its my bad french, but my eyes saw them check every table around me before bothering to come to mine. My eyes saw a table seated after me being served with the compliments of the house. Perhaps it was my high expectation with all the great reviews...but alas, Its not that im black...no, it couldnt be, but its France, so one will only wonder. Avoid if you are #travelingsolo or...
