Really poor service. Wines of average quality. Much better to visit a real winemaker (we did so in Puligny Montrachet) as it is much more interesting to talk with a winemaker and sample all his wines with no purchase necessary or tasting cost (in the end in Puligny we purchased 2 cases). At ropiteau we bought nothing. They were not happy and almost insulted us. This is what happens when the person is an employee who is just here to sell wines. Not a good experience. Would not recommend. Do not waste your time there. Go elsewhere. There are plenty better places to visit...
