It's not a purchase. It's more of an adventure. Here's how it took me 3 weeks (so far) to buy a TV, I didn't receive it yet. Since I'm moving to a different appartment, I've decided to buy a TV and to take it out directly from the shop since I rented a car for the moving, I went to the FNAC store in the Centre Bourse mall in Marseille to check if the product is available in stock, it wasn't and the vendors told me that I need to buy it so they can order it, and they assured me it takes 2 days to be available AT the store, spoiler alert it wasn't, a logistic problem took place. The next week I went again to the shop (of course after trying to solve this by the phone, but the answer was "we don't handle store purchases, sorry") to change the delivery method since I didn't have the car no more. The post sale customer support told me no problem, but I had to cancel the order and start another order to change the delivery method, and it's not handled totally with them, it's with the vendors too, after waiting approximately 2 hours by different staff members, it was handled and the delivery date was set for the following week. The delivery day came, and the darty team responsible for the delivery came to my house for 5 mins, they arrived in a hurry, opened the tv in a hurry, broke it in a hurry and finally left in a hurry with the broken tv. Of course they reported it, but no one called me after the incident, so I decided to see if the phone number on the delivery notice is useful or useless. And it was useless, because it's only for online purchases, I went back AGAINN to the store, and the post sale customer sevice team told me we're sorry this happened but again you'll have to go by the vendors to solve this and to reorder a second tv, and gave me an invoice indicating the paid amount (which is 586€, it's important for later in the story) Went to the vendors, I told them I want the same tv, they told me "it's now 618€, either you pay the difference today or you come back tomorrow, the supervisor isn't here so I can use his code. Sorry" I was furious, after that, I went back to the customer service, and told them this, they told me it's unacceptable but they can't do anything. When I got really angry, they started changing the way they work, and said that the vendors are lying, there's always a supervisor at the store. After that, the staff member left for a while, came back, checked something on his pc, and told me "this specific tv is out of stock" i told him no and that I saw it on the vendor's screen, it's available but more expensive(618€) and that I won't pay the difference, he did some magic and it was solved, now the new delivery date is set for next week. IT'S A DAMN NIGHTMARE! I really hope there won't be a part 2 for this nightmare.

I recently visited a FNAC store, and overall, the experience was quite impressive. FNAC, known for its extensive range of books, electronics, and multimedia products, lived up to its reputation. The store boasts a diverse selection of products. Whether you're a book lover, tech enthusiast, or music aficionado, FNAC has something for everyone. The book section is particularly noteworthy, with a comprehensive collection of titles across various genres, including a robust selection of manga. From popular series like "Killing stalking" and "Sexy cosplay doll" to lesser-known gems like hentai, the variety of manga available caters to both seasoned fans and newcomers to the genre. The electronics section is well-stocked with the latest gadgets, from smartphones to gaming consoles, ensuring that tech-savvy customers can find the newest releases. The staff at FNAC are knowledgeable and helpful. During my visit, I had several questions about different products, and each time, the employees provided detailed and accurate information. They were courteous and seemed genuinely interested in helping me find what I needed. This level of customer service greatly enhances the shopping experience. P.S. the security guard remembered me from the last time i visited this store and gasped out loud out of shock đŸ˜Č One notable aspect of my visit was the presence of a beautiful and professional security guard. He was not only diligent in ensuring the safety of the store but also added a welcoming presence with his approachable demeanor. It's always reassuring to see attentive security personnel, and his presence definitely enhanced the overall sense of security and friendliness in the store. While my overall experience was positive, there are a few areas where FNAC could improve. For example, the store could take in a larger selection of security guards and sell back street girls the manga 😔

There was never MUCH to like about fNac in general. The nicest one was at Odeon in Paris. Probably the only one with sunlight and windows. Their only store that didn't look like a dungeon.

Thus there was never much to like about the one at Belsunce... but now there's even less. It's on the second floor of one of the sunniest and most recognizable ports in the world... but you'd never know it because all of the walls are straight black.

On top of that... they've gone the extra mile and turned this particular dungeon into a labyrinth. It took me a full twenty minutes to figure out where they'd hidden (yes... HIDDEN... down a hall and around three corners) the movies. I searched high and low for a Meta Quest 2 only to be told someone would have to get one for me from the back.

Then WHY did I even come to this store? I could've just ordered whatever I wanted online and the mailman would hand it to me tomorrow.

People USED to go to electronics stores to see the things they read about and maybe discover something else while they were there. Fnac makes you regret coming to the store in the first place.

I understand they're worried about theft at Belsunce... but they should be more worried about creating a more welcoming environment. They didn't have so much as an empty BOX to look at for most of the items.

At least now fNac has competition from Boulanger. Hopefully they learn something from them before...
