Les Délices de Belleville — Attraction in Paris

It is pretty cheap, for sure, but also a little hectic and not really a chill vibe at all if that’s what you’re going for. It’s pretty narrow walking through there and sometimes a little intense with people yelling. The prices are really really good though! Vendors were quite friendly, and very efficient at helping you purchase what you want. The olive stand guy with the spices was very kind. I bought way too many bananas from one guy, like 2.5 bunches for €1.50 or something. Definitely an experience and we’ll be back as we’re both on a pretty tight budget. This is a great place...

I love it! It's a wonderful market organized in the neighborhood of Belleville. There are sellers from alla over the world, mainly North-Africa, and it seems to be in the Marrakech market for the scents and the atmosphere it offers. Keep you wallets and goods close because there are many robbers who try to take advantage from the crowd to steal goods from the People, expecially tourists. I suggest you to try some North African food you can find in the stalls. One of the best Paris...

Le Marché de Belleville est l'un des plus populaires. Fidèle au quartier on y retrouve des commerçants de tissus, vêtements et épices de l'Afrique du nord. Mais c'est avant tout un marché de fruits et légumes très bon marché, souvent vendus en gros à 1 ou 2€ le kilo. Les prix sont donc très avantageux donc mais la qualité n'est pas toujours au rendez-vous de même que le choix. Je déplore qu'il n'y est pas parmi un nombre de vendeurs impressionnant, un seul qui fasse du bio, du local...bref un peu plus de qualité pour ceux qui ont envie faire attention à leur achats. C'est pareil pour les marchands d'objets en tout genre pour la cuisine, déco, bricolage etc la qualité est vraiment la plus basse possible, c'est dommage. Situé en face de mon travail, j'y vais quand même assez souvent, absolument déconseillé si vous ne supportez pas la foule, à partir de 10/11h c'est la cohue...
