LES TRIPLETTES DE BELLEVILLE — Restaurant in Paris

This place is a hipster hotspot. If you only feel good around and among hipsters, then it is the right place for you. Triplette is among one of the first place to bet on the Renaissance of the Belleville/Menilmuch (Menilmontant) area.

It is located between the Metro Station Belleville and Courronne, and if you take the line 11 you make it to le Marais in 10min and the 2 will take you to Pigale in about as much time. This means that you will meet a good mix of people from all around the places in Paris.

Also, you can play table soccer for free and that is a really good way to meet people or do something with your hands if you are tired of babling about stuff you don’t care about.

The staff is nice and very welcoming, obviously, the first impression is self sufficient good looking young people, but if you have the mental strength to go beyond, you will be pleased by how knowledgable they are about a lot of things.

Food is not that great tho and the tables are small. It doesn’t really matter if the point is to be with your friends and share food...

We came here for lunch. We sat over 5 minutes to get our menue. We then walked in and asked for it. We got two menues, one normal and one for the special lunch offer. Then had to wait 10 more minutes for the waiter to come get our order....

One of my friends wanted food from normal menue, water then says "no, we only serve from the "lunch" menue." So why did you give us both menues??

They only had three alternatives for lunch meal. Since she had to pick one she then ask if she could then have her food without the saus. The waiter say "no" it pre-made.

They showed no will to meet our wishes. Waiter then gets angry that we are asking them to make adjustment to the food and gets an attitude, raises his voice and looks angry. Since she can not have her meal with the sauce, so if they can not do this they loos all three costumers. But he does not care. We left. Would never go back. Bad...

I’ve been here like three times. It’s neither super fancy, nor best for cuisine. But this is worth to give a shot if you are around this neighbourhood. there is no big risk from the menu. & plus they are nice in general.

Well, I bet some of the costumers had some drama with some incidence. But to be fair, belleville has lots of diverse people group and culture here. so if being more graceful, this would be some neat place to chill with...
