Indian Swad — Restaurant in Paris

Very good and fast service! The food was good, also! At a reasonable price. 👀

The only reason I will give it 4/5 stars is because the menu was all in french & I only speak English (and romanian). It would be a nice upgrade for the menus to be in english as well. Consider it, please! 😆

For some of the foods, so I can understand what they exactly are, I looked online. They have a well made site from which you can order home as well! And there are tons of pics with the foods they have. 🥟🍛

The waiter was pretty kind with us, he recommended us the best out of what we picked (indianswad special at 24,90€, 120.59 Romanian Leu, which is a complete menu & it has a starter, a main course and a dessert). Even tho’ the waiter’s english was not very good, we managed to tell him what we want. Very kind!

We didn’t really know what to order as desserts so we went for something we found on the site, but on the site there were 5 pieces in the bowl, but he brought us only 2. Too bad, it was pretty good! Like some sort of soft donuts dipped in a sweet sauce, honey like....

Good food but unfortunately service was poor in our case. We stayed near to this restaurant and decided to take away our dinner from this restaurant. Also chosen this restaurant because of good review by customers. However, the person who took the order was not friendly due to some unknown reason and I was not felling welcomed there. During the food delivery he just handed over the packet to me without even saying a single word nor any professional gesture. Kind of strange & unprofessional behavior though it is not very big issue. The food was good but the picture at their website not matched with the dishes. I ordered 3 main dishes along with Rice & Bread. One of the main dish was "Chicken Indianswad" where they delivered Matar-Chicken like dish which was not at all matching with the photo they uploaded at their website. Cute and serene local restaurant. The inside vibe is zen and cozy. We loved that the menu has two sections: one Indian and the other Nepalese. I got the Thali off thé Nepal menu and enjoyed the fact that you get different degustation in one plate: lentil, eggplant, chicken, and rice. Since you get to choose the protein - there’s a variety of other options including shrimp and lamb. We also got the butter chicken off the Indian menu (thought the sauce was a bit too sweet for my taste).
