Champagne Thiénot — Attraction in Reims

We enjoyed our visit to Thiénot so much! Our tour guide, Gonzalo, spoke excellent English and was very accommodating, had attention to detail, and was happy to answer questions. As beginners we felt very welcome and appreciated learning how champagne is made. He had us understanding vintage, sugar content, and grape breakdown by the end of the tasting. The interactive exhibits were one of a kind and as a someone who loves history I think they did a wonderful job with combining preservation and development of their new facilities....

We had such a great experience touring a modern-meets-ancient champagne house in Reims. 🥂 The tour struck the perfect balance of learning and enjoyment—we got to see how champagne is made, hear the fascinating history, and taste three incredible champagnes along the way. 🍾✨ What really stood out was our tour manager. Friendly, welcoming, and so knowledgeable—plus, it felt like we were having real conversations instead of just listening to a script. Une expérience absolument exceptionnelle à la Maison de Champagne Thiénot ! J’ai choisi la visite “Champagne Origine” et j’en suis ressorti enchantée. La jeune femme qui nous a accompagnés était d’une gentillesse remarquable et ses explications étaient d’une clarté parfaite, ce qui m’a vraiment permis de comprendre chaque étape malgré le fait que je ne sois pas de la région et que je connaisse très peu le monde du champagne.

Les lieux sont tout simplement magnifiques, modernes et élégants, et l’on sent une vraie vision d’avenir avec leurs projets d’hôtel et de bar à champagne, des projets ambitieux. J’ai particulièrement apprécié leur approche moderne de la production, qui respecte profondément les traditions tout en apportant un regard neuf sur cet art ancien.

J’ai énormément appris durant cette visite et je recommande vivement cette maison à tous ceux qui souhaitent découvrir le champagne autrement. Une adresse...
