It was built on a rocky promontory during the second half of the 15th century. It takes its present name in 1691, when it was rebuilt.

One of the very few places in Europe I liked. Mainly people ruined the experience of travelling Europe for me. But spent a nice time in St. Malo in general, got to drive a left hand car and food was not too bad. This pic of my ma is one of the last pics of her and I was happy to be here with her. This is at the base of the Towers stairs. She was afraid of heights and confined spaces.
