Timothy — Restaurant in Saint-Malo

Amaaaaazing desserts ! I've never seen a restaurant with a window full of gorgeous humongous, fresh cakes before. And you'll get a piece that's so BIG that 2 people need to work really hard to finish it together. And it's delicious. We were there twice in the last week and will be coming back! For lunch or dinner, just get one of the salads (they are all fresh and delicious) and save space for that caaake! PS. There's an ice cream as a dessert on the kids menu. Caught the boat across from dinard not sure what to expect and after a short walk we saw Timothy. You couldn't miss it. The vast assortment of cakes stood a foot high and the portion sizes where humongous and I mean humongous. We went inside intending to have cake and coffee but the menu looked Fab so we ordered an early dinner. We was not disappointed at all the food was delicious and we where so stuffed we went for the smaller it still huge lemon meringue pie. Everyone looked to be enjoying their cakes. ......

Excellent food, but the portions are very generous! I was only just able to eat a Gallete and a Crepe, and I would count myself as a big eater!

Fortunately they offer a "to-go" service for people who's eyes are bigger than their stomachs.

The staff spoke very good English, but seemed to appreciate my efforts at French.

I didn't need to book as was there off-season, but the restaurant still filled up at peak lunch time so I can well imagine that booking would be needed at busier times...
