Terre de Pastel - Museum du Pastel — Attraction in Toulouse

This visit was more for my wife who is into fabrics. A very informal tour but still fascinating as you will learn about wode and how important it was in the history of Toulouse. A bit of a ways out from the centre, we took the bus and metro and it took almost an hour. Nice little gift shop. There's a spa there as well, although not sure what or how it relates to wode, unless they dye you blue...

Cannot recommend this museum for non-French speaking visitors. Just to clarify: the lady gave an introduction in English but the exposition only had French text and was therefore not readable for people that don't read French. There were videos with English subtitles but that was only a fraction of the expostion and so we missed a lot of...

An amazing start to our day in Toulouse. Each staff member was fun and hospitable and worked together to translate French to English to make sure we got the full Woad experience.
