An amazing start to our day in Toulouse. Each staff member was fun and hospitable and worked together to translate French to English to make sure we got the full Woad experience. Each video and room was informative, tracing back the history of Woad (or Pastel). Great fun, if you like natural dyes and regional history.

Marie was a great English tour guide. She was passionate about the subject, which made it that much more interesting. Learning about isatis tinctoria was fascinating! The boutique was just as great. We left with bags full of goodies. Don’t pass this little museum up!

Mais déception pour le bracelet acheté en souvenir...a cassé à deux reprises les deux seuls jours où je l'ai porté...sans l'avoir accroché à quoi que ce soit ! En nageant à la piscine et en prenant quelque chose dans mon sac ! Un peu dommage ! La chaîne est extrêmement fragile, le porter va donc être compliqué bien qu'il soit très joli ! Déçue ! Désolée, merci de votre réponse, mais je suis malheureusement rentrée dans l’Hérault où je vis, et je ne peux donc pas revenir au musée dans les semaines à venir. Ne serait il pas possible de m’en envoyer un nouveau par courrier ? Merci d'avance !

This visit was more for my wife who is into fabrics. A very informal tour but still fascinating as you will learn about wode and how important it was in the history of Toulouse. A bit of a ways out from the centre, we took the bus and metro and it took almost an hour. Nice little gift shop. There's a spa there as well, although not sure what or how it relates to wode, unless they dye you blue...

Cannot recommend this museum for non-French speaking visitors. Just to clarify: the lady gave an introduction in English but the exposition only had French text and was therefore not readable for people that don't read French. There were videos with English subtitles but that was only a fraction of the expostion and so we missed a lot of...
