Parc Jouvet — Attraction in Valence

I love this park, close by where my wife lived before we were married. I had received postcards from my future wife during our courtship with pictures of Kiosque Peynet, which stands in pride of place In front of the park, for those that don't know, it's a celebration of love and a place for young lovers to meet. Passing by you descend down the staircase and pass the fountain with the Valence coat of arms displayed in flowers adjacent. There is a miniature railway to ride for a small fee, but it wasn't open a couple of days ago when we visited. There is a small area with goats, and an aviery too. There is a fine statue of Honour paying tribute to the fallen heros of Valence, some 700 plus brave men, it is said that this fine edifice has been commended as being the largest structure, certainly for a war memorial in France. The grounds of the park are well looked after and with its smaller area it provides a nice stroll. There's is a children's play area too. The park was named after a philanthropist who bequeathed the park to the people. Thank you Sir, your gift is greatly appreciated and has been a feature in me and my wife's courtship. Ich bin wieder in Valence und bei strahlendem Sonnenschein im Wunder schönen Park Jouvet Dieser liegt direkt in der Stadtmitte, dieser sehr lieben und schönen Departement Stadt, mit seinen sehr freundlichen Einwohnern, und bietet Schatten und herrliche aus und Einblicke. Liebevoll gestaltet und hervorragend gepflegt macht es viel Freude dort zu sein. Interessante Pflanzen und Bäume, große Gras Flächen auf denen die Valencer sich treffen und ein Glas Wein bei einem guten Gespräch trinken. Kleine Wasserläufe, Springbrunnen und Fisch Teiche sowie ein kleiner Tierpark mit Schafen, Ziegen und Volieren mit fröhlichen singenden Vögeln bietet Abwechslung und sind gerade für Kinder ein Magnet. Ein Rosengarten und ein Kinderspielplatz findet sich auch. Aber besonders gefällt mir, mit welcher Hingabe dieser Park gepflegt und unterhalten wird. Mein Kompliment für die Mitarbeiter der Stadt. Nicht nur die Stadt selber ist jeden Besuch wert, sondern auch dieser Park und viele andere Park Anlagen dieser sehr...

Super jolie Parc pour promener avec les petits enfants pour les premières longue marche "s'en tenir la main" s'en avoir peur des voitures ou autre... très propre, magnifiquement bien entretenue, les animaux plaisent au yeux des enfants surtout les canards, super aires de jeux pour les enfants il y à toujours le fameux petit train que nous avons connu nous aussi il y a plus de 40ans!... Ces génial ! ... Sauf qu'il y a un bémol !! Impossible de faire un petit tour de manège pour les petits enfants qui étaient émerveillé devant ce très beau magné car les parents non pas le droit de montrer sur la plateforme pour rester à côté d'eux au qu'à où il se lèvent pour x raisons... Qu'elle déception !! Ces trop injuste pour ces petits enfants qui ont fait 50km et non pas pû faire ce tour de manège !!!! ( Même dans les fête foraine les parents on le droit de rester a côté d'eux !!! Merci au Forains qui on eux un coeur pour ces petits enfants !!!). A rectifier au plus vite !!! Pensé au tout petits....
