I have visited the Friendship Park yesterday for the first time as a diaspora. I was simply speechless by the beauty of this place. Its beautifuly designed landscape in a great location in the centre of addis. As soon as you walk in to the park, you'll feel like you are somewhere in developed country. I am facinated by the variety of plants, great walking paths, connection to the Sheraton Addis and natural river, etc. Well done to all involved in this project and great respect to our PM for his initiative. Some comments for mprovements: Public access to the park should be maintained for longer hours, at the moment no acces to the park after 2 pm local time. Restaurants and bars inside the park should be able to operate at night to attract more people to the park.

Friendship Park, ወንድማማቾች ፓርክ, Sheger Park The park is a piece of paradise full of astounding greenery, flowers and plants. It was costumed to take the shape of typical untouched African Jungles. It has a beautiful scenery all around. The Friendship Park is located at the CENTER of Addis Ababa. The Park is at the heart of the city and surrounded by the Grand Palace, The Finfine Springs, Sheraton Addis, Black Lion Hospital, The Post Office, The Meskel square, and many more historical sites and commercial centers. The Park was established in 2019 following an initiative by Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed.

Really nice park, amazing architecture and landscaping. There are still unfinished works like the fishing pond which I'm excited to see in the near future. The artificial lake has water lillies which I think adds a nice touch. Beautiful view from the arc which is an imitation of the hammer women's necklace 👌. I would recommend a lot more options for snacks and refreshments since there were only a couple of them like tutto gelato ice cream parlour and ero-shake juice bar plus a little adjustment on the entrance fee Birr.110.00 per person which sounds a bit high for families

We were so surprised to discover this park in the middle of Addis Ababa. It is stunningly beautiful and well maintained. There are different entrance fees depending on your activities. It is a wonderful place to take wedding photos but you will have to pay the 10,000 Birr fee if you are booking your photoshoot. Professional cameras and any type of refreshments are not permitted in the park but you can bring your own cellphone. There is a lovely restaurant where you can get fresh baked pizza and coffee. An outing to the park is good for the soul.

I recommend this park to walk, run, have a meal, read a book or organise an event. The park was clean and offered a nice relief from the bustling city outside. The evening fountain show was nice and the food at the restaurant was also ok. The park does seem unfinished in places... Especially the area with the kiosks where you can find ice cream etc. and I also find the use of concrete a bit excessive for a place meant to be more natural. But, this is true for most parks in Addis and is a personal preference. All in all, I suggest a visit!

Friendship Park and overall it was a nice experience. It's a great place to work out, bring your kids, parents and grandparents to relax and have fun. The park is also great for taking pictures including weddings, and it's open till 10PM which is great. The only downside was that the entrance fee was incredibly expensive and the hospitality services were really poor. The food was really bad and overpriced. Overall I would recommend this park if you're looking for some place to hang out in the evening, but be ready to pay for it.
