Tranchot Obelisk — Attraction in Aachen

It is very nice place with great ambience, view from the top is just awesome. You can almost see entire city and it's beauty. It's good for a light hiking who wants to warm a bit. You can even drive your car there to top. Be aware that your dog has to be tied up good. It has benches to sit around. There is sun bath place I have noticed and it was amazing. There is some ancient Piller on the top. And yes I can't forget rotating cafe there which is open only on Sunday if one wants to visit. Wunderschöner Aussichtspunkt über Aachen. Es gibt viele Möglichkeiten per Fuß dahin zu kommen. Man kann den Punkt auch über eine Straße erreichen. Für Rollstuhlfahrer: rund um den Obelisk ist fester Grund, somit gut zu erreichen. Auf der Ebene kann man schön spazieren. Gleichzeitig hat man die Möglichkeit, den alten Wasserturm von Aachen zu besuchen, inklusive Restaurant. Bitte unbedingt die Öffnungszeiten, bzw. entsprechende Webseite beachten. Die Inhaber/Pächter des Restaurants wechselten in den letzten Jahren sehr oft. Man sollte vielleicht mal die Preise, unabhängig vom Ukraine-Krieg, überarbeiten. Ein bißchen...
