Mei Choi — Restaurant in Aachen

I celebrated my birthday here, and we went all out. Reservation online was quick and easy, and the service at the seats was great due to service remotes that we could press to get the waiters' attention. The drinks were tasty! The dim sum was decent, the xiao long bao did not blow me away but it wasn't bad either. I was satisfied with my dishes, a duck noodle dish and Guo Bao with meat. My friends really enjoyed the ramen, saying it was the best tasting soup they didn't even want to talk while eating.

The prices were a bit steep, but it was fine for the quality and amount we got. Their homemade ice-creams(2,3€per scoop): Red Bean: tasty, tastes like a red bean and sticky rice dessert Aachener Printen: tastes like Printen, but if you are like me and ate play-dough as a child, the flavor might remind you of that Apple: Very tasty! very refreshing, more like a sorbet type ice cream One person had the ice cream platter, they were satisfied. This restaurant has everything it takes to turn into a acclaimed restaurant. Their recipes are exactly on point! Exactly on point! All the flavors as required and yet it did not miss on surprising me. We had the beef bao and ate even the last dribble of their sauce. It was so tasty. The ramen was... unconventional. It is not some broth simply poured over some noodles. The broth tasted fresh like it was made specially for us. With a hint of extra ginger and garlic. The noodles were great. If they sort their supply-chain, this might be a big thing in the future. This restaurant is just a little bit pricier and that is it. But...

By far the best restaurant in Aachen! It's rather expensive for a student but the vegan gyoza and the dish "colorful vegan" are strait from heaven! It's never exactly the same and their ice cream is so good (ginger-lime, haselnut-almond, dark chocolate, strawberry-basil,...)! Unfortunately the icebox inside and the road outside are loud, but the people are so very nice. I love eating here! Rhey also have Pfand-dishes so you don't have to be wasteful when eating out.
