One of the most impressive and interactive museums I have ever visited. Lots to do and lots of well-presented information combined with live animals that makes going through it very pleasant.

IMPORTANT NEGATIVE! This museum sadly fails on many fronts of equitable presentation of different communities around the world.

The sections on Niger and Cameroon were terrible, feeding into stereotypes African countries and people. Focusing unnecessarily on the exoticised presentation of the nations such as tribal dance, picturing the people while they are dirty (but with big smiles), and only representing a small subsection of the country.

These parts of the world were the only ones which did not have any semblance of technology or complexity presented. Any individual who had not encountered more accurate representations of these areas would leave with the same view of African people as an explorer from the 1920s.

The inclusion of placards which says things such as 'hunting and widespread eating of bushmeat is thought to be the cause of the Ebola pandemic' which is not only sensationalist, but factually incorrect. Ignorant to the fact that the first outbreaks occurred in the DRC and are associated with medical malpractice in the use of unclean syringes.

This part of the museum was very upsetting and people from diverse backgrounds may want to be aware in preparation for these out-of-date and brutal sections insensitive to presentations of African countries and the European...

Please like the photos and follow me in google maps if the below description helps you and also get freely updated about beautiful places you can visit. A must once in a life time experience . I strongly recommend giving this place a visit because it is absolutely fabulous. It is a mini world tour in a couple of hours . You will be experiencing different climatic conditions around the world . The tour will take around 2 hours atleast to enjoy properly. Don't rush yourself from one place to another , stay minimum 20 minutes to start feeling the climatic changes . The place is near to the beach ⛱️ so once you finish your klimahaus tour grab an ice cream and go to the beach . The opening hours and ticket charges need to be checked at the website for updated traif. You can get a personal locker for 1€ as well as a common place to keep your bags secured. I strongly advice to take the free 1€ pfand lockers, so that you don't need to waste time when getting out there . The staffs are really friendly and the places are kept very neat and tidy . You can listen to the instructions and briefing in English and German simultaneously . A must place and have fun with your family . Children's must be taken once atleat by parents so that it will be really a good educational...

We recently attended the climate exhibition and found it to be a truly great experience. The interactive elements were both engaging and educational, and it was refreshing to see such a well-executed event. The exhibition itself was perfect—informative and immersive, leaving us with much to think about.

However, our visit took a disappointing turn afterward when we decided to sit down in the restaurant area to rest for a few minutes. Unfortunately, not even 2 minutes later, a worker approached us in an extremely rude and disrespectful manner, asking us to leave if we weren’t going to purchase anything. We fully understand that the seating area is intended for customers, and we had every intention of ordering something shortly. The area was almost completely empty so it was even more unnecessary that we had to leave. That said, the tone and attitude displayed by said worker were completely unnecessary and left us feeling unwelcome so we left.

In summary, while the exhibition was fantastic, our experience was marred by this unpleasant encounter. A little more courtesy would have...

This is an awesome place. There is so much here to enjoy - you can spend the whole day there and still not see everything. I went with my friend, four kids (6-11 years old) and a baby in a pram. It's a shame there isn't a ticket option that allows multiple entries since kids can get over-tired and distracted so they wouldn't necessarily last the whole day and I wouldn't mind another visit next time I'm in the area. However, it is really fun to explore, there are a lot of interesting exhibits, and it is fine for English speakers too. There is a pram-friendly route throughout but unfortunately it can be quite difficult to re-join your group if you get separated because you can't go up the stairs. There is poor mobile phone reception in some areas and the lifts and stairs don't seem to be near each other so it's a good idea to all stick together if it's important for your group. Tickets are fairly expensive but worthwhile if you are able to come early, stay the whole day and take full advantage of everything there is to see and do.
