Yes, it's quite nice. For Texans: this was the residence of Prussian Prince Friedrich, in whose honor Baron von Meusebach named Friedrichsburg, today's Fredericksburg. The immigration to the German Hill Country was discussed here and in his upriver castle Rheinstein (purchased from von Coll). F's Investment in the Adelsverein was financed by his cousin, the Prussian King FW IV, after getting a thumbs up from Alexander von Humboldt. Germans know near to nothing about this exciting history. Why on earth the old Jägerhof was dropped in favor of the chewed out name Goethe Museum must be simply ignored.

I wouldn’t consider this a castle, however I really liked it, it’s a museum now, for Goethe, I’m not really sure of how much the entrance fee is, but if you get the Düsseldorf city tourist card for 24h or more (the 24h one is 10€) you can go to this museum and others for free :) Also there’s a really nice park in front of it.

Construction was happening (May 2023) and with low data i couldn’t see any updates about it so i lost a bit of time yesterday
