One of the must-visit places in Düsseldorf is undoubtedly this lively street that has become a hub for lovers of Japanese cuisine and culture. Along this bustling street, you will find several top ramen locations, each offering a slightly different style and flavor, making it a perfect spot for ramen enthusiasts eager to sample a variety of authentic dishes. The rich aromas drifting from the restaurants invite you to step in and enjoy a hearty, flavorful bowl of noodles.
In addition to the outstanding ramen spots, right across the street, there are several Asian shops that are heavily focused on Japanese goods. These stores offer everything from specialty groceries and rare ingredients to Japanese sweets, tea sets, stationery, and even traditional home decor. It’s a fantastic area to explore if you’re interested in experiencing a little slice of Japan without leaving Düsseldorf.
However, one drawback that I noticed during my visit is the customer lines at some of the more popular food establishments. If you wanna go for tea ceremony, you must call them upfront and it's hassle and they expect you to buy a tea even though you only are going there for nice authentic Japanese experience and nowadays, you can buy Japanese tea via Internet. Also, many restaurants require reservation if you wanna have a dinner. Some servants are arrogant and rude. Karaoke bar wasn't good either since it wasn't explained to us how to use it and what about ordering drinks. Streets are dirty, people are weird and dangerous outside - drunk people, drug users, etc. I don't recommend to go to Little Tokyo. It's not worth it and you wouldn't see that much. We were there for 8 days and It was very disappointing. You can get through it...

Quite dissapointing that only the restaurants appear to be open at the weekend too. So could only do a bit of window shopping.
We decided to have some lunch and wound up waiting in a queue for 40 minutes for some admittely very nice food, but to be honest, for me "the Juice wasn't worth the squeeze".
I won't be going back if I find myself in...
