Bowie's "Lazarus" was a disgrace. His melodies were simplified to suit the inapt actor's voices. Inadaequate sound quality, like amplifiers and speakers from the eighties, worn out long since. Poor acting. Overall a thin third class rating for the play. Due to the chairs in front of you being considerably lower, no place to put your feet in front of you, if you're tall highly unpleasant. We weren't the first to leave. Seriously, I'd fire the director.

Good Theater shows could be seen here. Very good experience. Very talented actors and an interesting idea to learn in the end. It is one of those things that one must do if visiting or living in around Dusseldorf. Had an amazing evening here. Even though I didn't understand the German very well, the acting was compelling and mesmerising enough that I was able to understand the play very well and was able to enjoy it very much. Went with a small group including 7 kids and 6 adults, the tickets for the show also doubled as tickets for the tram so we all went with the local train system.
