It is a scenic point where the Main and Rhine rivers meet. It is very nice to watch the ships pass. There was a lot of wind when we went. Maybe it is always windy, but it is really fun to stand here. here the Rhine river reminded me a little of Istanbul, but the riverside is not used much. a place to spend a good time with more...

Love this place. Sitting right on the tip of the Mainspitze, the big cargo ships turn from the Rhein into Main or vice versa at roughly arms length is as close to sitting as the ocean as you get this area, all while watching the sun go down behind the lovely little town of Mainz....
