Picturesque and very photogenic place capturing the beauty of Rhine Valley in one snapshot.
It was only a short 5 to 10 minute walk from the Barabach village, either on the main path (more comfortable) or through the vineyard (steep and a bit dangerous as I almost slipped on the gravel). The entry to the tower was free and after climbing a couple of floors we were rewarded by a stunning view of the village, Rhine valley and the Barabach castle.
It was worth the effort and the sweat to come all the way up as this kind of view is hard to find! Visited...

Nothing spectcular about the tower but it offers awesome views of the town with its outstanding St. Peter Church and Werner Chapel ruins and of course the Rhine River. The surrounding vineyards are beautiful as well especially during Autumn when the grapes ripe and the leaves of grapevines turn yellow and reddish brown.
