Peaceful park directly behind the Kurhaus. Beautifully landscaped, serene park built around a lake. Many trees have identifying labels. Ducks and pigeons in large volumes have found the Kurpark home. The spa park of the Hessian state capital Wiesbaden was laid out in 1852 in the style of an English landscape garden. It extends over an area of 75,000 m² in the valley of the Rambach from the Kurhaus in the city center ( Kureck ) to the center of Sonnenberg . From the fenced spa park area, the spa complex leads through the Rambachtal with another pond. The Aukammtal flows into the Rambachtal. The Kurpark and the Rambachtal are bordered on the sides by Sonnenberger Straße in the north and Parkstraße in the south. On the slopes around the Kurpark, there are large villa areas from the Gründerzeitout. The regularly planted flower bed by the pond was replaced by an easy-care bush rose field. The flowering splendor of the rhododendron population has been suffering from bud infestation for years. There are pay per use toilets in the park which seem to get cleaned by park attendents (at least once on a saturday)
The park is a popular spot for families and groups of freinds a like with sunny open spaces and plenty of shade under...
