We rented the beautiful villa in Saronida for a 3 day weekend. We rent Airbnb's often as a professional couple, so the experience we had with Athens Houses was nothing short of baffling.

When we first arrived at the villa, the house was dirty. Floors were not swept, counters were not clean, and there was dust on several surfaces. We contacted the owner (who is a helpful, lovely lady) who also saw the house was dirty the day prior and told us that she had expressed concerns to the management company, but was assured that it was clean. So, we contacted the company and they sent a cleaning person to do what should have been done prior to our arrival.

We were given no instructions to the unit upon our arrival - no information about the alarm system which kept chiming because of a communication failure in the system when we entered, no instructions on the WiFi, no instructions on how to access other parts of the house. We were given only one key, and later discovered there is a different key needed to access the lower floor of the house from the outside, which was not given to us by the person dropping off the keys. The owner had to come to the house to address the alarm system fault and give us the other key.

Small details of this beautiful house are completely ignored by the company. Not one bottle of water in the fridge, hygiene products were scarce, and the umbrella by the pool had no base and was torn. This particular unit faces west, so because there is no antithermal elements on the windows, the house is very hot and takes an entire day to cool down using the ac units. The very top floor has a portable ac unit needing an open window for its condensation exhaust, so it was impossible to cool that floor entirely. We didn't sleep very well because of this plus how hard the beds are.

For 500€ a night, we truly expected better. The complete lack of communication to the point where we had to contact the owner for very basic things was inexcusable. This property has much potential but unfortunately is a victim to poor organization and unprofessionalism of...

The villa in Saronida we rented was dirty when we arrived, and you had to send another cleaning crew while we were there! I am attaching some of the photos we took upon our arrival, which we sent you. You also know there is a problem with the alarm system, which chimes very loudly at random times, day and night. There was no bottled water in the fridge when we arrived, along other missing items that one usually finds in kitchens/bathrooms in hotel rooms and airbnb rentals. We also met and spoke with the owners of the villa, who expressed their dissatisfaction with how you are managing their beautiful property. You provided NO instructions whatsoever as to the basic functionality of the villa, either. Check-in was difficult and confusing. And it is a fact that you did not provide us a key to an entire floor of the villa, or informed us that we had access to it. It was the owners who came over the next day to address the alarm system issues that showed us to the additional floor and gave us a key! Generally speaking, although the property has a lot of potential, it is not managed properly. You would do well to take note of these reviews and improve your property management processes, as well as train your staff better,.. Update from your response: What is tragic is your inability to accept responsibility. Your bullying tactics are not going anywhere. You threatening us with legal action is welcome! We have attorneys too and something we like to call evidence, so we will not be intimidated! Go ahead and try it with us, and we will be happy to see you in court. I am sure you can afford to pay our legal fees when a judge orders...

Amazing accomodation This apartment was phenomenal, honestly, even better than we expected. It already looked great in the photos, but in person it’s even more impressive. Super clean, beautifully designed, and just feels like a place you want to be. Very comfortable bed and two aircondition were wonderful in so high temperatures

The view is amazing, and the location couldn’t be better. There are great restaurants literally just steps away, perfect for both breakfast and dinner. There’s also a grocery store nearby with a surprisingly big selection, and the metro station is just a 2-minute walk. You can get to all the major attractions in just 2–3 stops, or if you’re up for it, it’s a nice 30-minute walk to most places.

The staff were incredibly helpful and quick to respond to any questions we had, which made everything even smoother. I don’t usually leave long reviews, but this place really deserved it. If I ever come back to Athens, the very first thing I’m doing, even before booking flights, is checking if this apartment is available. It’s that good😊 Nothing...
