Pythagorio is the most vivid town in the island. Make your plan to stay there where you can find everything. Some say kokkari is the most popular area some don’t. In my opinion, it is Pythgorio.The statue is located on the way to lighthouse at the marina area. Although it is small , but you should take a photo there witnessing that you were in Samos. Hanging around with your loved ones captured by its lovely and vivid atmosphere on the alleys makes you feel good.

As a person of math, it was a privilege to take picture with monument of Pythagoras. The monument is at the opposite side of the port. Beautiful monument, but it almost impossible to get good picture in morning, noon and afternoon time (see my photo at the nnon time). However, during or close to the time of sunset the lighting is optimal to take picture. 😊

Pleasant sheltered outdoors setting. Helpful proprietor/staff. Good English spoken. Good range of food and drink. The food was delicious! My wife found the house red wine quite drinkable with her bolinaise. She rated the coffee after the meal as the best she has ever had!! Believe me, that's really saying something.

Fito Aqua Bleu Resort Uitstekende accommodatie zeer schoon en netjes en fris. Op en top vriendelijk personeel ook in aangrenzend restaurant. Uitstekend ontbijtbuffet meer dan ruim voldoende van alles wat je maar wensen kan. Elke dag schoongemaakt en schone handdoeken etc. Krijgt een tien min i.pv. tien plus. Enige opmerking is dat douche kop houder op navel hoogte aan muur is gemonteerd i.p.v op hoofd hoogte, waardoor haren wassen ed iets creativiteit vergt,,🤣 zeker een aanrader ligt tegenover kouros Bay wat ook goed was voor ons. 3e keer Samos maar dit is echt een topper eveneens de strandbedjes met heerlijke matrassen en perfecte dat dames die de drankjes brengen zo gastvrij. Er liggen zelfs badslippers en badjassen voor je klaar op de kamer met een flesje wijn en nootjes. Elke dag kleine snoepjes bij de handdoeken die elke dag leuk zijn opgemaakt. S'avonds komen ze nog prullenbak legen. Uitstekend Resort

Statue of the most important figure in Samos. It's a nice place to take a photo if you can, it's usually surrounded by children playing (there's a playground close by). Even so, it's a good place to sit and relax at the port.
