A very nice, wide and sandy beach with easy access either by public transportation ( bus ) or personal vehicle. Free parking generally at the back of the beach, with a plethora of beach bars and sand beds spread across. First section once you enter the area is more rocky, while the far back ( close to Drakos Tavern ) is much nicer and less steep. Problem is that the nice section of the beach is managed by a beach bar called Far Out, which is a complete rip off ! They’ll charge you 20 euros for the first row of sun beds, plus 20 euros per person as a minimum expenditure! That’s an easy 60 euros just for laying at the beach … Second row comes at 15 euros ( not VIP you see ). Personally, don’t like the attitude, so second day sat at the other famous beach bar called Salt; paid 20 euros for the sun beds for the whole day, no minimum expenditure required… It’s your call ! In any case, you can also chill by yourself, as there are some middle sections that...
Read moreIdeal location for relaxation. The beach presents shezlongs (chairs) with shade umbrella and the price depends on the location of the chairs (front or back). Fronts cost 30€ for 2 and the back 20€ for 2.
It is also marked that other areas (same beach) cost more than my spot where I am sitting at.
The sand is.. Well.. Sandy (not rocky) which is ideal for sleeping on. Perfect place for sunburn and even water activities.
The place where I am sitting at does also provide water sports (Mylopotas water sports) which is cool to check it out. The restaurant right behind me cheap and delicious food, snacks and drinks.
In addition, the person in charge (Faros restaurant) told me that you can bring your own water and sandwiches to the place where I am sitting at since the chairs are his (Other locations will tell you to not bring drinks and food so they force you to buy from them, it will cost more).
Overall, perfect...
Read moreVery nice beach. Clear water and quite nice to snorkel in! There are many activities to try while visiting here. A few that I've noted thus far include kite surfing, paddle boat rides, paddle boarding and there is also scuba diving!
You can pay to go tubing getting pulled behind a boat, which looked quite fun. The prices are very reasonable for all of the aforementioned services / activities.
The beach, like most beaches I've been at in Greece, offer sun bathing chairs for rent in front of most of the beachfront restaurants. These will cost you anywhere from buying a drink at the restaurant to €10 euro for two.
