For the price, this tour unfortunately did not live up to expectations. The main focus was simply being driven to a few of the “best beaches” of Ios. While the guide gave some brief explanations along the way, there wasn’t much depth or engagement. Snorkelling was also underwhelming, as there wasn’t really anything to see. The return journey was the most concerning part. Of course, the weather and waves are not within the driver’s control, but the ride back felt very unsafe. The boat was repeatedly lifted by large waves, and at times we were thrown into the air, having to hold on very tightly. With only one side rope to grip and no life jackets provided, it felt dangerous. I ended up with a sore neck, bruises, and a nail ripped off from the rough conditions, and another family member was also left with bruises and soreness.. Overall, I would not choose to do a speedboat tour like this again. For just €10 more, we joined a catamaran tour in Santorini that included lunch, water activities, and stunning views—on an island that is typically even more expensive. This tour is misleading and overpriced. They advertise it as a relaxing boat trip to see the most beautiful beaches of Ios, but in reality it’s a small semi-rigid speedboat crammed with 11 people, blasting loud music, and driven recklessly. We came to Ios to relax, not to be thrown around like in a theme park ride. Sitting in the front was a nightmare — I’m still in pain three days later — and at several points we were honestly scared as the captain got dangerously close to the rocks.

For €67 per person, all we got was water and juice. No snacks, no proper snorkeling experience with marine life, nothing that justifies the price. You pay for a “best beaches tour” and end up on a high-speed adrenaline ride that no one asked for.

On top of that, they make you sign a consent form without telling you it’s a liability waiver — extremely dishonest.

Nothing against the guide personally, but the way this tour is advertised is false and unacceptable. If you are looking for a relaxing boat trip, DO NOT book this. It’s expensive,...

His passion for the sea and dedication to ensuring everyone had a great time were evident throughout the journey.

Nikos skillfully navigated the boat, taking us to some of the most beautiful and serene spots. We had the chance to swim in crystal-clear waters and explore hidden coves, all while feeling safe and well-cared for.
