Klima Beach is an absolute must-see, especially if you can time your visit for sunset. We arrived about an hour before the sun began to dip, and it was a magical experience from the start. The iconic syrmata, or colorful fisherman houses, are an incredible sight, literally built right into the water's edge. These fascinating, two-story boathouses, with their vibrant doors and balconies, are truly a sight unique to the island of Milos. The ground floor was traditionally used to shelter the fishing boats from the elements, while the upper level served as a simple living space. Each one is painted a different vibrant color, which not only looks stunning but also served a practical purpose for the fishermen who used the unique hues to identify their homes. As the sun began to set, the air grew soft and still, and the gentle lapping of the waves against the stone added to the serene atmosphere. The sky and water came alive with a breathtaking palette of oranges, pinks, and purples. The golden light cast a beautiful glow on the houses, making their colors even more brilliant and truly emphasizing the unique beauty of this place. Walking along the narrow strip of beach and seeing the reflections of the houses shimmer on the water was a highlight. The entire scene felt like it was plucked from a postcard, offering a quiet escape from the more crowded areas of the island. It’s a peaceful, visually stunning spot and an unforgettable way to end the day. We left feeling completely mesmerized and will definitely be back on our next trip to Milos. For the best experience, arrive early to find a good spot and soak in the pre-sunset glow—you...

This is a hard one. Quickly it’s a small strip with very little beach. There are the colourful fishing huts now mostly accommodation but a few are shops. There is one Bar that is very large lots of tables for eating but only 3 for having drinks at. Kimla is very pretty unfortunately it’s kind of being spoiled by “influencer” trend everyone has seen it on social media and are desperate to be seen there so unfortunately it’s full of people there to film themselves at kimla instead of being there to be completely embraced in Greek culture. The result is that the one bar on kimla doesn’t feel authentic don’t get me wrong the food looked lovely but it’s not just the food it’s the whole experience. In Greece when you go to a bar for a beer they would normally bring a little bowl of crisps, this is very Greek and part of the experience but not there, they were not very friendly either, they didn’t have the classic Greek hospitality who’s is what I go for… much more beach club feel to it that beach side taverna which is a shame. All in all if you really want to see it then go but I...
