Georgia Rooms Milos — Hotel in Municipality of Milos

I spent two nights here with a friend recently, and we loved it! Georgia is super friendly and hospitable, nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are really clean and have everything you need. The verandas have great views over the volcanic bay. Tripiti itself is for me the perfect place to stay in Milos. It is halfway between Plaka (hilltop village further up, more touristy than Milos) and Klima (a small fishing village down the hill). It's easy to walk to either from Georgia rooms, and they're also really close to the ancient amphitheatre and catacombs, both worth a visit. You have a good choice of restaurants in Plaka, Tripiti and Klima, all walking differences (Ergina is a few minutes walk away and has great food). And the views! You can't beat sitting on your veranda with an ouzo and a bowl of olives, watching the sun set over the bay.||||All this for 30 euros/night for a twin room (in September 2016) you really can't go wrong.||||Unfortunately google maps doesn't deal too well with Tripiti - what they think are roads don't necessarily exist! I have shown the actual location of the hotel on the attached photo (circled in red). It is just down the street ("Afroditi") from the restaurant Barriello, down a dirt track close the the bend in the road (indicated with a yellow star). However the street from Barriello to Georgia's is one-way (in the wrong direction) so you have to approach...

The rooms are just at the starting point of the village, which has narrow and steep alleys with no parking space, thus the parking lot Georgia offers is a life savor. It is situated, next to the easy main street that goes from tripiti to plaka , while the road that takes you from plaka to klima is very steep. The rooms are well equipped and impeccably clean.
