Majestic Mykonos — Hotel in Municipality of Mykonos

Our recent stay at The Majestic Hotel was unfortunately far from what we expected. Upon check-in, we received minimal assistance or information about the hotel’s amenities and services. While it was considerate of the staff to allow us to leave our bags at reception due to our early arrival, this initial kindness did not extend to the rest of our stay.Our room was extremely disappointing. The air conditioning did not work, making the room uncomfortably hotter than the outside temperature, which was already a scorching 32 degrees. Despite our repeated requests, the issue was never addressed, leaving us to endure the unbearable heat throughout our stay.The bathroom setup was equally problematic. The shower required us to hold the nozzle and hose ourselves down, which was more comedic than practical. Additionally, the towels provided were stained and unclean, and similar spots were found on the bed linens. The hotel lacked basic amenities such as food services or even a kettle, giving it more of the feel of a house with rooms for rent rather than a professional hotel. Overall, The Majestic Hotel does not live up to its name. These ads are so fake beware. Just recently saw their instagram and was reminded of what lies they really show. The pictures of the room online are not at all what you get. Want a huge hole in your shower? You get it here! Want raw plumbing visible ? You get it here! Think you get towels from the pictures shown of towels with their hotel name on it ? Wrong. The pictures shown online are false advertising and I recommend looking elsewhere before booking this hotel. The WiFi never works and if you want to take a shower past 9pm you better hope the front staff is awake because you have to ask for them to turn...

Can't say enough amazing things about George [the manager], and this incredible little hotel. Very close to the beach and cool little shops- convenient drive to everything.

I stayed for 2 nights and George also showed me around Mykonos, and helped me out in countless ways - from recommendations to amazing dinners to helping me print an important document.

I will DEFINITELY be coming back to see George and stay at Majestic.
