Faliraki Bathing Beach — Attraction in Peloponnese, Western Greece and the Ionian

Navigating to the beach can be challenging. Google Maps directed us to a viewpoint above the beach, which took a few minutes to understand. Despite this, it's the only beach accessible from the city center, making it worth the effort. The view from above is very pretty.

The beach itself is small and narrow. Be aware that one bar on the beach requires customers to take a table or seat and purchase a drink in order to use their section of the beach. However, there are also 'public' areas of the beach where you don't have to make any purchases to enjoy the seaside.

Person working in the bar would not let us walk through the area to get to he public beach, even though we were the only one who politely asked and other people just opened the gate and made their way. He said the beach is part of the bar and we cannot access it and they are closed, even though other people not customers of the bar were already happily there. Beach itself looked from far away lovely with clear waters. Very disappointed as this was the only choice for us on a last day as we were catching a plane the same day and wanted to enjoy few more hours...

The beach is great, wonderful for a swim next to the city center. The water is clean, staircases make the access easy and there are showers too. I can recommend this place for a dip. The beach club on the right hand side is not my cup of tea, the vibe overall is not good and the prices are too high.
