Great swimming and wonderful views of the Old Fort. Super clear waters make for an exciting swim on a hot Corfu town stroll. Definitely worth the stop after enjoying downtown Corfu. Easy access and centrally located , this swimming area is complete with a few cafes and an exceptional view of the Old Fortress at sea level. The massive size of the Old Fortress becomes truly apparent when viewed while swimming in the crystal clear waters . Imagining any attacking ships or armies trying to scale these dauntingly impenetrable walls are best observed from this vantage point. There are ladders and steps making entry into the water safe and easy. Final take----Go and...

Faliraki is a beautiful little spot right by the Old Fortress — perfect for a refreshing swim with stunning views of the sea, Vido Island, and the marina. The water is crystal clear, and even though there’s no sandy beach (just stone platforms and ladders to get in), it’s a lovely and peaceful place to relax.
It’s just a few minutes’ walk from the old town, making it super convenient if you’re exploring the city. I loved how local and authentic it felt — no big crowds, just a calm, scenic place to unwind. There’s a small café nearby, and the sunset here is absolutely magical.
Tip: bring water shoes for easier access into the sea, and come early morning or late afternoon to avoid the heat and enjoy the view at its best.

You can swim for free, there's no beach just pavement then swimming poolsteps rigged up going into the sea and the locals just lie on the pavement to sunbathe and dry off and hang out. Next door there's a bar, if you buy a drink you can swim for free from there but sun loungers are €30. We got a drink and swam from there as there's much easier steps and shallow to walk into the water rather than the pool style steps into deep from the free bit, we thought it was worth it for the nicer getting into the sea experience....
