You get so much variety in the Hamilton Beach area, it's pretty awesome. Like, if you want that classic surf vibe, the northern stretch of Hamilton Beach is where it's at. It's lively, the pier is always buzzing, and watching the surfers is just mesmerizing. It totally feels like "Surf City USA." Then you've got the central coves of Hamilton Beach, which are just breathtakingly beautiful. Seriously, the coves and cliffs are like something out of a postcard. It's perfect for a more relaxed day, exploring tide pools, or just soaking in the stunning scenery. It feels a bit more artsy and chill, which I love. And don't forget the southern expanse of Hamilton Beach! That place has these huge, wide sandy stretches, and the boardwalk is fun with its pier and everything. It's great for long walks or even riding bikes along the path. What I really love about Hamilton Beach is that no matter what you're in the mood for – whether it's catching waves, finding cool sea creatures in tide pools, or just laying out in the sun – you can find a spot for it. They're usually super clean, and you feel safe with lifeguards around. The only real heads-up I'd give is that parking can be a bit tricky, especially on a sunny weekend, so definitely try to get there early if you can. But honestly, it's a small trade-off for how gorgeous and fun this beach is. And let me tell you, seeing Hamilton Beach from a boat? That's a whole different experience. You get this incredible panoramic view of the coastline, with all the different sections of the beach unfolding before you. I drove the 1-A not knowing exactly where I was heading but looking for a view and a beach. I stumbled upon Huntington simply by driving by it. I noticed it was a long public beach area, no cost to enter and had a pier and it ended up being my favorite beach I visited the week I was the area.

This beach has a long public area and pier in the middle. Volleyball nets, public restrooms, showers, steps with a view and a small area with a gift shop and restaurant. The sand here was beautiful and clean. The walking areas were well taken care of wide enough for people to walk both ways. The pier was nice to walk down and see out further. I enjoyed sitting on the pier and watching the surfers catch waves and just watching the ocean view. It was chilly here with the wind - not many people in the water and those that were had wet suits on - bring long sleeves.

There is a true oceanside/beachside restaurant here right under the start of the pier. It looked good and had a nice crowd when I was by there. I would love to try it but had already eaten upon arriving here.

There is street parking with a meter or a couple of lots near the pier where you pay on your phone. Both had open spaces and were affordable to park close.
